Nature as a Classroom

Nature as a Classroom

Ramnath Chandrasekhar is an environmental educator who believes that ‘nature is a classroom without boundaries’. Through pictures and short video clips, he will take us on a journey from the rainforests of the Western Ghats Mountains to the high peaks of the Himalayas, and, from along the River Ganges to remote corners of India’s far North East. These will be connected to the need for reimagining ways we learn about nature and take part in conservation through service learning, for a sustainable planet for us (which includes forests and wildlife), and for our future generations. This one-hour session will include the talk followed by an interaction with the students.

This event is sponsored by International Student Programs as part of International Education Week.
