Our Mission

The Mission of the De Anza College Adapted Physical Education (APE) program is to provide students with disabilities accommodations necessary for equal and effective participation in Physical Education experiences.

What We Offer

The APE program offers a wide range of courses to meet the fitness needs of students with disabilities. These areas of exercise include:  

On-campus classes

  • Adapted Total Fitness
  • Adapted Strength
  • Adapted Aerobics
  • Adapted Aquatics

Off-campus classes

  • Adapted Outdoor Education
  • Adapted Cardiovascular Training

2019 Summer Registration

The registration packets for continuing APE students will be available at PE-13 on May 13. Registration assistance will be provided for each APE class on May 16-17 and May 20-21. For more information please contact the APE program at 408.864.8465.

2019-2020 Financial Aid Fee Waiver

The California College Promise Grant fee waiver application is available online through OpenCCCapply or download a form that you can print out. For more information, please visit the Financial Aid office.
